ipod battery dies and then comes back to life Hello, I have a 20GB 3rd gen ipod and I use it quite a bit. Recently the battery has been dying after one to three hours.

Hi, I'm trying to replace the two cheap and noisy power unit fans in my G5 Dual 2 GHz (June 2004). I know I have to remove at least the lower processor, to get to the power unit, but I don't know how to disassemble the G5 Dual. No screws

Any DVD disc with an imperfection causes DVD Player to pause, retry, and, frequently, quit with the "Unexpected" error. My cheap Panasonic DVD player may mute while it "artifacts" the display during rough spots in the disc, but it rarely gives up.

System: MDD 1.25DP with Radeon 9000 Pro (stock). Current monitor is a 17" Sony 200ES (CRT). Time to move up to a 17" LCD. What do ya'll recommend for around $400 or so and what basic specs should I look for? This is just for home use. Thanks.

Over time, many of my jpg image files have duplicated, some 2 or 3 times. The names of these files have "-1" or "-2" added to the original file name. The utilities I've found for eliminating duplicates, only see those with identical names.

Just had to reinstall Panther on a G4 ibook. When I restarted everything was fine except that Garage Band and iDVD had gone missing. I used Pacifist to try and find their packages but although their recipts show up on my hard drive there is no sign of the install

I've got an older G4 that doesn't seem to like the DVD ...here's the details. I removed the DVD/Zip completely from the machine and everything is fine, boots up great, etc. I put the DVD/Zip back into the box

Is this a plausible symptom of an aging / dying / messed-up battery, or should I be looking for other solutions? Computer: 12" G4 PowerBook (original version), 21 months old, running 10.3.7 (problem started with 10.3.6).

Hi all. Hoping an audiophile can perhaps clue me in. Been running Linux at home on an IBM desktop for the last 8 years or so, and I have an audio cable from my sound card's "line out" jack to a mini stereo's R/L inputs. Works great for playing MP3s. Planning on replacing my desktop

i bought the dvr-106 burner and installed it in the powermac G4. the system crashes on boot. if only the original zip drive, or only the dvr-106 are installed, the system boots just fine. checked the jumpers. the zip drive (original) is set for slave. the dvr-106 is set
