Need a printer recommendation09 Jan 2005 16:36 GMT5
My Epson C82 printer pooped out on me. It got clogged and can't become
unclogged. So it's a paperweight. I am now down on Epson. I once had a
C80 and bought the C82 when that got too clogged to work. My wife and I
had matching C82's, til hers died, and we had to share mine. Now ...

DVD burning on a shoestring?08 Jan 2005 23:45 GMT11
I'm looking to put my short film work onto DVD, and would like it to
look at least semi-professional.. which is sort of what I am.
Unfortunately I have very little money at the moment.
I've just bought a cheap standalone (set-top) DVD recorder (DVD+R/RW).

G4 won't boot08 Jan 2005 04:52 GMT1
My G4 does not boot.  I get a flashing blue globe in a box.  I have
recently installed 10.3 and it is updated.  I installed 2 additional
drives and set them up as RAIDs.  My ethernet port did not work after
that.  I installed a ethernet card and everything was fine, but I would
TV Tuner for slot load iMac?07 Jan 2005 23:30 GMT1
I've got a older iMac, 350Mhz Blueberry running OSX 10.3. I was hoping to

Can someone suggest a unit that would work?
Thanks!

iPod battery - what happens when it dies? and Data Transfer.07 Jan 2005 01:50 GMT2
Ok, so I've more or less decided I've got to get an iPod (40 Gig
probably) and I've read up on a lot of reviews (cnet.com) but I do have
a concern about the battery. Lots of people are saying that it must run
down eventually - when?, and what happens then - will Apple be ...
DVD+R to DVD-R questions07 Jan 2005 01:30 GMT1
I've got a Quicksilver 2002 with the Pioneer D107 superdrive installed.
After installing Panther, it can now read DVD+R disks.
I need to extract the DVD content off of a disk to use in iMovie, but I
can't seem to get it to work right.
upgrading imac cd-rom07 Jan 2005 00:38 GMT1
I have a rev d (333mhz) imac. I like to upgrade the cd to a de-rw.
Can you recommend a cd-rw which would work without altering the front
flap? I don't like to ruin the face of the imac.
Cheers

I recently took out the zip drive that came with my Gigabit-ethernet
powermac as I have no use for such a thing.  I do though still have a
number of floppy disks around.  Since the form factor of a floppy drive
