Having watched two Freeview recording boxes let the magic black smoke
out, and finding that the latest is hideously unreliable, I've wondered
about a nice safe familiar Apple-based way of watching and recording TV
programs.

Is there a connector available to connect the iMac G4 external speakers
- the spherical ones - to an amplifier (I'm presuming that they require
more than a mere headphone amplifier to drive them)?

Every time I start a new shell using Terminal, a new ssh_agent process
is started. (Its PID is not stored in the environment variable
SSH_AGENT_PID.) The problem is that this ssh_agent process lives on
after the shell process completes.

Is on offer at mupromo.com today and looks interesting - essentially
looks like a server wrapper to CalDAV plus Google synchronisation, in a
nice preference pane-based interface (not sure if CalDAV is actually
what it -is-, but that's what it looks like).

Recall earlier our thread on audio on dvds. Now, mac the ripper got
mentioned a lot during that and I tried finding it. All of the
downloads don't seem to work at all. Also, I understand the 2.66
