I wonder: do Firefox extensions require the same code to work on Windows and Mac?09 Nov 2008 22:03 GMT-
I ponder: how does it work. There is a useful FF extension called FlashBlock,
or something, that is kickass. I have it on my Mac but also intend to install
it on my PC at uni.

Paging the Apple re-sellers08 Nov 2008 11:08 GMT-
I can't remember who is and who isn't..... but I'm sure a few of you are
authorised Apple dealer types.
Anyway, would anyone mind dropping me an email so I can ask you about an
Apple-related job opportunity I've just had emailed to me..... prefer
Chairs [on topic]07 Nov 2008 20:23 GMT-
I just bought a £500 office chair. It's leather and black and really comfy. I
think chairs are a good investment, especially if you sit down all day doing
computer related stuff.
If you are hard up, you could always go to Ikea. They do some very reasonable
Darwin Calendar Server07 Nov 2008 19:28 GMT-
Hello again, it's been a while.
Those of you who - like me - have for some time wanted a multi-user
calendar to use with iCal, and don't have Mac OS X Leopard Server handy,
might be interested in the open source Darwin Calendar Server.

has anyone had to replace their iPhone battery yet?06 Nov 2008 22:05 GMT-
I'm guessing some of you got it on the launch date in the US. Is it showing
any signs of crapping out?

New MacBook - trackpad seems okay06 Nov 2008 20:33 GMT-
Got my new MacBook. It doesn't seem to have the really bad trackpad issues as
the one in work. It does miss the odd click when I use the side of my thumb
to depress the button. I think this is getting confused for a multi finger
gesture.
Belkin Expresscard USB+Firewire gizmo05 Nov 2008 22:38 GMT-
I've read some reviews/reports that if the gizmo is pushed in even slightly,
it 'ejects' it. Is this really the case?
How much does it protrude out the side?
Are the USB and/or Firewire ports able to power a (2.5in) hard drive?
