I have just changed my DVD recorder and it works fine except for some
small problem. When I play the recorded DVD on my iBook, the
widescreen picture is 'squashed' to fit on my laptop screen. With
prerecorded widescreen DVDs I just get the standard black top and

My iMac repeatedly loses the connection to my Time Capsule base station.
Often, it doesn't find it again until I manually reselect the base
station.
The signal is strong, until it's lost.

friend who's under the influence of heavy drugs at the moment (chemo)

Any recommendations please - not asking much: work on Mac Leopard over
wireless and 2 computers, connect to the Virgin router via ethernet, 1TB
single drive (don't need RAID), access to files from work PC. Quiet
would be nice, but it'll be in the cellar so not a critical concern.

After reading up on Ringtones, is it correct that I cannot purchase
ringtones on the iTunes Store?  Can I make them from songs in my library?

OK I have had it with my Netgear wifi router !  I can bear the random
disconnects no more.  I want to go back to Apple hardware as my old
Extreme 802.11g unit was faultless for 2 years.  However i'm not sure
whether to go for an 802.11n Express or an Extreme.

I sent Dad an email that he received ok on his G4 EMac but he wants to
print the picture I attached (from within his Outlook Express).
He can't just print the open email (gives an 'Error 2' or something
equally useful) so I was wondering if he was to save the attachment,

Anyone had any experience with Form Filling software (Win or Mac and
ideally free / cheap), specifically the: scan form, fill boxes
on-screen, print to blank sheet (with scanned form if not 'official')
or print onto the form itself,  type thing please.

As per question really - I've got wake-on-lan setup for the Mac Mini,
and a freebie iPhone app to wake it up. Would be useful if I could
perform the reverse trick too - any ideas?
