When I woke my MBP from sleep this morning, it was VERY sluggish and I
could not send mail (it kept crashing).
Unplugged it from my internet connection and workd a treat. Re-connected
and MobileMe mail seems to be down. I can see my contacts ,cal, etc, but

Just finished watching "The making of me" on BBC1. Just about every
computer in the documentary was a Mac.

During the recent finanicials results, Peter Oppenheimer made reference
to a "product transition" due to take place sometime around September.
He also wouldn't say what it was.
Any guesses? Do we think we're in for a Touch Tablet, A5-ish?

Anyone have any experience of Wake-on-LAN? I can get it to work on the LAN,
but can't get it to work across the WAN to wake my father's computer.
I'm running the WakeOnLan program; I'm using the IP address of his router[1],
and the MAC address of his iMac. But it doesn't wake up.

How can I set up a printer on my Mac such that it looks like a normal printer
to applications, shows up in print dialogues etc. but when you print to it,
instead of going to a real printer, you get a spool file on disk full of the
raw postscript.
