Javascripts seem to run faster than Applescripts in Adobe Illustrator. Is
there a simple way (i.e. idiot's way) of converting an Applescript to a
Javascript?

Is there a front end creative tool for the Mac that helps create inline

Following on from discussion here a while ago I'm investigating
TeX/LaTeX for the production of a price-list. Googling I've found how to
get OS X fonts into LaTeX - it looks complicated, and I don't think I
need it, so, to save work I'm hoping to stick to the built-in fonts.

Is the in-built Google search (for .co.uk) when searching 'the web' as
opposed to 'pages from the UK' the same as using Google.com?

I've rescued a 1990 1391406 IBM Model M keyboard and bought a PS/2
