play.com and Safari 3.1119 Jun 2008 22:57 GMT5
I can't check out anymore - play.com seem to have changed their
checkout procedure and now when I click on checkout I get a long pause
followed by "server not responding".
Anyone else able to use play.com with the latest Safari?
Restore Leopard Dock Documents Icon19 Jun 2008 22:21 GMT1
A friend has asked if I can restore her Documents icon to the Dock after
it was accidentally dragged away.  I assume it's just a case of dragging
the actual folder down to the Dock?

Northern Ireland Cocoa Developers group19 Jun 2008 18:15 GMT5
Some of us in Northern Ireland are thinking of starting a local Cocoa
developers group to meet and discuss Mac OS X and iPhone development. It is
envisioned that there will be periodic meetings, a mailing list, a web site,
maybe guest speakers etc. This is all to be determined. ...
Little script for Erage to Address Book?19 Jun 2008 18:06 GMT2
It's no good.  I still haven't made the jump to Apple Mail.  Tiny
reasons, but I haven't gone there.
I'm just wondering if there is or could be a little thingummy that
popped up whenever I add a new email address to Entourage's address
FF3 tab behaviour19 Jun 2008 16:56 GMT3
FF3 has changed the bookmark "Open All In Tabs" behaviour. Previously
it used to replace the current window with the contents of the tabs.
Now it adds those tabs to the existing tabs in the window.
Which is utterly useless if, like me, you used to use it as a quick way
blue light on Western Digital "My Book" stay on19 Jun 2008 16:47 GMT12

Anyone know how to get this to stop ? (it's in my bedroom...)

iChat alert19 Jun 2008 11:56 GMT-
I have a list of buddies in iChat, and I use the default setting so that it
goes 'tink' when one of them becomes available. This works correctly when one
of them (Charlie) comes online, but doesn't work for anyone else.
I've checked the override panel in their personal 'Alerts', ...

Tips for writing a script for Mail.app19 Jun 2008 10:26 GMT11
I need to write a script to use to fine-tune triggering of a Mail.app
rule to send out of office autoreplies to emails.
I'm mainly happy with what Mail does with its rules, except that I can't
tell it to only send an autoreply once to each recipient.  i.e. if Bob
Aiport Express...19 Jun 2008 10:15 GMT7
I just put an APE (the later 'n' version) unit downstairs, mainly to
feed my HiFi with iChoones stuff, but also to bung a USB HD onto for
network access. I might even figure out how to tick my printer on it
too.
How to send HTML email from Mail.app ?19 Jun 2008 08:05 GMT2
I know, I know, but this isn't for me - it's for a "friend". I need to
send a fairly simple chunk of HTML in an email from Mail.app. I've tried
looking at incoming HTML emails to see how this works but haven't
managed to fathom it. Anyone give me any pointers ?
