10.5.3 update and folder size error14 Jun 2008 11:45 GMT2
Since updating to 10.5.3 (it may have been there before, but I didn't

reported.
I have just come back from holiday, over 1,200 digital photo's,
Applecare on eBay14 Jun 2008 10:19 GMT9
I have a question about Applecare on behalf of a friend.
She is planning on buying a Macbook, and wants to get Applecare.  I
suggested that instead of buying it directly from Apple, that she get it
off eBay for a fraction of the cost.

from Preview.

Desktop printer "undefined result"13 Jun 2008 23:14 GMT3
[OS X Leopard]
I've set up a desktop printer and tried to drag and drop PDFs to it some
work, some don't. From experimentation I believe it's PDFs from a
certain source only. They do, however, print OK if I open them in

Video frame import (and time lapse)13 Jun 2008 18:47 GMT5
I have this large tree in my garden. On a day by day basis it doesn't do
much, but on a year by year basis it is fairly busy.
After doing an iStopMotion thing of gardening, I thought it would be nice to
do one of the tree.

Here's the problem:
When I got my machine, it ran perfectly. Leopard Graphics
Update 1.0 introduced some graphical glitches (flickering).
Problems with iPhoto13 Jun 2008 18:11 GMT18
I've resisted using iPhoto until quite recently as it seems to be one
of those apps that completely takes over and makes you organise files
according to its rules. However, on closer inspection it did seem to
have several features which make it worth the trouble - so I bit the
Ubuntu on G3 PowerBook13 Jun 2008 17:22 GMT10
I have a G3 PowerBook Pismo that I don't use often enough, so I thought
I'd install Ubuntu on it.... you know, to see what all the fuss was
about, and also to see what it was like to use an Open Source OS.
