I've just bought some (Sandisk UltraII+) SD cards for use with my SLR. In the past I lost photos due to a faulty card so I'd like to test them. Is there a better method than simply filling them up with a CRC'd file, such as a .zip, and then verifying that the .zip will extract ok?

Am trying to run this in Fusion beta 2 - wondering if the problem is VMware or just Windows. Can I hell get XP SP3 to download and install via Windows Update. There's a long pause, followed by a "Failed to install" message. No further details.
