svn used to work on my server, but it no longer seems to. It says
authentication error when trying to connect to it with anything.

A lot of the time, the cursor I have is completely the wrong one. It
might be the I-beam or something else, but it doesn't seem to get
corrected when, e.g., I click on the desktop. Then it should switch back
to the ordinary pointer - but very often it doesn't.
