I was watching BBC Click with Spencer Kelly. They were chatting about
free software (or open sauce software or something).
They mentioned this thing called Linux which has a penguin as a
symbol. How does this compare to Mac OS X?

Weirdness going on with my new Leopard server installation.
I carefully set up a whole load of Share Points, tested them, went
away, came back and some of them had just... gone. That is, the file
systems were there but they had become mysteriously un-shared. I know

I have the opportunity of a Radeon X800XT Graphics card for one of
elderly G5 Dual 2.0 gig machines fitted with Radeon 9650 256 mb card...
Would I see a significant performance boost in Aperture if I get it or
should I stick to our original plan and replace with the latest 24"

OK I give up, lost the pound sign £ on e-bay its showing a circle with
a bar through it where the pound sign should be same in Firefox, any
ideas on how to return the much loved £ Or is it e-bay being anti mac
yet again??

I've just migrated my boss to OS X. I managed to get an iMac at home for
him a few months ago so that when the transition was made at work it
wouldn't be so hard.
Back under Windows, from the days of Win3.1, he's used, initially, MS

Every night I either put it to sleep or it goes to sleep on the

We naturally have completely different tastes in music. I use iTunes and

My old G5 is doing it's job quite admirably still, but I can't help
