I need to get some information from the System Profile of a Mac on my
network. It's a server and I don't want to connect a display just now.
I can ssh to it with no problem. Is there a way I can read the
settings that would normally be displayed in the System Profile app

Time Machine works for me most of the time but every few days I get
'unable to complete backup' error messages. The precise message is:
"Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup
directory."

I can't seem to find addgroup/groupadd anywhere in Leopard. Any clues?
Something from MacPorts would be nice, as I've got that installed.

Anyone else finding Office 2008 crashing frequently on leopard ? Excel

I've got iCal server running on Leoprd Server and it perfectly syncs
with mine and Roger's Macs and my Mini at work, all running Leopard
client.

I want to get rid of a mirrored RAID but keep the data on a single
drive. I can't see a way to do this.
