Can anyone tell me how much space the OS MacOS 10 uses.  I have a 120GB Hard
drive in my macBook and I am trying to work out why I only had about 480MB
spare!!  I have taken off some DVD recordings that I had backed up and left
on drive and that now leaves me with about 26GB spare.  ...

I've been given an eMate which is rather lovely. Because of its age, it
comes with a Mac serial port. As luck would have it, my original G3/233
iMac has been returned, and I also have an iDock which will give me the
serial port I need.

I have stopped the sync, deleted the local copy and tried again - last
sync failed. I then ftped in and deleted the contents. tried again and
