Man rapes body of DEAD model (Sally Anne Bowman) - I can't understand     this06 Feb 2008 23:38 GMT7
Read this first: http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?in_article_id=95172&in_page_id=34
I was shocked when I saw this. (And very little shocks me these days)
The sick bastard that does this should be executed right now.
But I wonder -- what was the point?
Bother, Dead (G5 20") iMac06 Feb 2008 22:29 GMT6
Last night I finally set up my iMac at home, months after we moved into our
new house. It worked fine for five minutes, letting me join a wireless
network and get my email, then crashed. The mouse pointer moved, nothing
else was happening. Eventually I turned it off.
Anyone out there with experience of eCommerce in Filemaker?06 Feb 2008 22:07 GMT2
We need to produce an eCommerce web site (or store for an  exiting web
site).  For various reasons it *has* to be done in Filemaker, that is
non - negotiable.  We do not have webby skills in house and would be
looking for someone with a track record to do this for us.  This is a

One 30" display or 2 x 23" displays?06 Feb 2008 21:18 GMT35
Help me decide - has anyone got one of these beauties? I have got a 2 x
17" Dell CRT setup at the moment and (a) one is flickering in an
annoying way (b) I need more screen space for my artwork (c) I might as
well spend the money on that rather than give it away to the taxman as I

Connecting iPod touch to sound system06 Feb 2008 17:12 GMT9
Now that the iPod touch is approaching a reasonable storage capacity,
what are the options for actually playing it over proper speakers?
Note that I don't have anything in the way of speakers or "sound
system"[1] at the moment, so all options are viable.

Best small keyboard?06 Feb 2008 15:42 GMT12
Anyone know of a good, _small_ USB keyboard? Partly to be used on a Mac but
also partly to be used with my HDD recorder, hence needs to be wired.
Illuminated would be nice but not important.
In terms of size I'm thinking in terms of about the size of a paperback,
Double ongoing backup06 Feb 2008 12:18 GMT-
Is it possible either in Word or with a utility to create double ongoing
backup files as you work on it, ie to two different drives? The question
applies to both OSX and (cough) Windows.

Is it possible to output any audio other than iTunes via Airport Express06 Feb 2008 10:13 GMT10
I have an airport express that i currently use in my lounge for itunes,
with a big pair of f-off speakers, but I would really like to be able
to output audio from other applications using the same approach -
specifically Logic.
New toys: 16g iPhone / 32Gig iPod Touch06 Feb 2008 09:43 GMT23
....plus a new pink nano. Available at an Apple Store near you now.
I'm a little disappointed - was hoping for the new MacBook Pro
announcement when the store went down. They've now got two more days to
release it before I come back to the UK, and I somehow think that I'm
USB Modems06 Feb 2008 08:19 GMT7
Has anyone used the Apple USB modem?
It may be a bit last century but I still have a need for a fax facility,
so is it any good, or are there better alternatives?
