What is the simplest way to do a full backup (i.e. take a disk image, in case I have to restore from an empty hard-drive in the worst worst case)? Related questions: (i) What kind of compression ratio can I expect, and (ii) would I be able to use the disk image to do a partial ...

Just got an email from apple advertising the new models of MB and MBP. Was it really too much to ask for multitouch across the range rather than just on the pros? I would have thought it would be the a great selling point for the mass market notebooks rather than being something ...

Just bought an iPod Touch from John Lewis. Very nice and all that, but none of the new apps (mail, maps etc), and iTunes is asking me to pay £12. Am I missing something here? The web site says nothing about paying: http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodtouch/

| auto ID3 tagger for OS X? | 28 Feb 2008 10:53 GMT | 2 |
Has anyone come across a decent, preferably free, ID3 tagger for OS X that'll let me point it at a folder that contains an album of badly- tagged MP3s, and let me specify the album name or artist - then have the app go off to freedb or similar and tag the folder contents

| Logging Router Outings | 28 Feb 2008 08:40 GMT | - |
I've noticed lately that my Orange router cuts out quite regularly, only for a minute or three, but there's a definite trend to less reliability. Is there any software for the Mac I can use that will monitor the router for a day or three and produce a log? Would be interesting to ...
