Can the ipod touch go into disk mode on Windows XP or not?06 Jan 2008 23:49 GMT22
Can the ipod touch be put into disk mode on Windows XP or not?
My friends say it can be done but they don't know how.
Has anyone written a program to put the ipod touch into disk mode?
Can you point me to any program which puts the ipod touch into disk mode?
[iPhone] 16GB, 32GB models...06 Jan 2008 22:20 GMT27
Got an iPhone? Would you buy a 16GB  or 32GB one to replace your
current 8GB model if Apple introduce one at MacWorld?
I would. I love the iPhone to bits, but it needs more storage.

Browser DOM inspector06 Jan 2008 22:17 GMT4
Is there a Macintosh browser or browser plug-in which will tell me where
an element is in the DOM hierarchy as I hover over parts of the browser
window with the pointer?
Safari's Web Inspector gets half-way there in hiearchical mode, except
G5 air deflector sensor06 Jan 2008 21:44 GMT3
On my 2.3 dual G5, which doesn't boot, the diagnostic LEDs don't
illuminate at all even when the air deflector is opened. The front
panel light stays on and doesn't flash.
Can a faulty air deflector sensor stop the machine working?
DirectoryService06 Jan 2008 20:26 GMT-
From time to time my MacBook C2D 2GHz 10.5.1 gradually spins its fans up
when there's not much going on - browsing etc. The processor temperature
is around 65 degrees. Now back to normal cpu is at 48 degrees and fans
almost silent at 1800rpm.

Now I use a 4Gb memory stick to copy/paste but I am not happy with this
as a solution.

Does anyone here play podcasts on their iPod, or are you all just music
listeners?
If anyone here does play podcasts on their iPod, I beg you, please tell
me how to play just one episode at a time. It seems impossible!

Since upgrading to Leopard, I've started having serious problems with
my personal XP VMware image.
This image has two drives attached - one is drive Q, and is inside the

iPhone / iPod touch Flash player and Hotmail?06 Jan 2008 14:36 GMT3
Had a fairly amusing day today listening to a spoilt brat moaning about
how hopeless her Christmas prezzie was. An iPod touch no less.
So if anyone who has a touch could tell me if they are able to login
into www.msn.com and the Messenger section, that would be tremendously

Photo Sorting06 Jan 2008 14:32 GMT15
Can anyone recommend software for quickly sorting through photographs
(i.e. lose vs. keep) prior to importing them into Aperture. Both
QuickLook and Coverflow should be good for this job but neither work
100%.
