Well, I've upgraded the iG5 to 10.4.11 (driven entirely by the need to get the iPod Touch sorted). This'll be no suprise to you technowizards, but a pleasant surprise to this here technophobe, but it all seems to have gone rilly, rilly

Since upgrading my 1.8GHz iG5 from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 I have noticed that the fan comes on more often and stays on for longer than it used to. It's no wind tunnel, and the only reason I notice is that I work in a very quiet place. But 10.4.11 certainly runs it hotter than 10.3.9.
