| Anyone here using Be broadband? | 16 Jan 2008 15:47 GMT | 2 |
Pipex have managed to cock up my broadband so I'm only getting 241 kbps, so I've finally decided to go elsewhere. Be are offering up to 24 Mbps, they're available in my area, and are only £3 a month more than Pipex for unlimited bandwidth, or £7 more for 2.5 Mbps upload speeds.

| Looks like we got away with it. | 16 Jan 2008 12:14 GMT | 1 |
I got my Dad to order the 2.0 Mac Mini the other day to replace his dead eMac and it looks like we got away with it. The Minis don't look like they've changed. I should have known there were changes coming up and for once we were in luck!

| Time Capsule | 16 Jan 2008 12:14 GMT | 17 |
That's why the bastards disabled Time Machine backup to Airport Disk, isn't it? Hopefully it was just a delay to avoid a percentage of potential Time Capsule buyers going down the Airport + USB drive route. I hope they

| Blasted Bluetooth mice | 16 Jan 2008 12:13 GMT | 7 |
My old Bluetooth mouse had a habit of starting up with clicks which worked but tracking that didn't. My new Bluetooth mouse has a habit of losing its clicks, even though the tracking still keeps working.

The Apple website says this is now possible but I can't work out how to do it. Any ideas? I'm hoping this means we'll now be able to see the notes attached to podcasts too. Andy.

I picked up an Iomega eGo drive on Friday for my MBP. My plan was to format and partition it into a large HFS partition for Time Machine, and a smaller FAT partition for sharing files between my PC and Mac. This wan't too hard to set up and seems to work fine, but I've run

First Impressions are good. Start up times for the apps aren't stellar but they are much better in use than the last versions on Intel machines. Some of the template and theme stuff for documents in

| Wireless Time Machine? | 15 Jan 2008 23:28 GMT | - |
So, anyone care to guess whether wireless backups will be available without Time Capsule? That feature is notably abesnt from the comparison page for the standard Extreme, but is that only because you can't back up without extra hardware?

| iPod Touch Mail - no Junk folder? | 15 Jan 2008 22:50 GMT | 3 |
Interesting. Just set up Mail on the iPod Touch for Caz - after setting up the basics, I could then go into Settings, Mail, <account> and then Advanced to specify which IMAP folder to use for sent, which for draft and which for trash.
