Back in the day we used to use Toast as the CD burning software of choice (Im talking maybe 10 years ago) whats the percived best one at the moment for the Mac? I dont have a DVD burner, so it only has to cope with CD's. Does OSX, like XP have burning software built in?

I'm looking at replacing my dead-tree based desk diary with something very similar, but electronic. I use it as a work log, writing one job per line. Ideally, something with a week-to-view format, that I can just fill in lines as I go along.

Finder is estimating 11 hours to copy 176 GB of data from one USB drive to another. Seems a long time? Would there be any faster way, with ditto or um, something else?
