Leopard Appearance Problem28 Oct 2007 13:02 GMT15
There are two choices under the Appearance option in System Preferences,
one blue and the other graphite.
I always ran Tiger with graphite but thought I'd try blue under Leopard
but it doesn't work!

Safari & the EU28 Oct 2007 10:55 GMT4
I'd like to be able to use Safari - not because I think it's anything
very special but because I'd like to be able to support an Apple product
- and, although at the moment I can use v2.0 I think everyone would
agree that it's not as 100% capable as v3.0 appears to be simply ...

Is there a way to stop the popup window that names the item your cursor
is over?
And where's the photos from last night???
iMac28 Oct 2007 08:52 GMT2
Is is possible to  fit/have fitted a second hard drive in an iMac?
I have an external USB drive but would like an additional internal. If that
is not possible I guess the only option is a very big HD split into two?
Thanks
unable to partiton or format HDD via usb28 Oct 2007 02:48 GMT-
I have a 200gb hard disk that connects via usb - all is well until i

I decided to reformat the drive to use it for Time Machine on leopard.
But... things have gone wrong.

OpenDocument support: TextEdit yes, Pages no28 Oct 2007 00:07 GMT1
No magic support for OpenDocument has appeared inside Pages as was
speculated, more's the pity. Ah well, here's hoping for an update later.
Cheers,
Ian

message "could not record because of a Mac OS error" - worked fine under

I will have to go back there if someone is unable to come up with a fix !

Xray27 Oct 2007 20:25 GMT2
I can't find Xray amongst the installed developer tools
(Xcode 3.0). I can't find mention of it on the Apple site
anymore either, though it's still in Google's cache.
Any idea where it might be (or have gone)? :)
Leopard's speech27 Oct 2007 20:15 GMT4
Bit disappointed with this actually. The new voice, Alex, is very good
but other voices don't appear to have received any improvements.
I'm considering buying Millie from Cepstral, but I'm not sure how much
I'd actually use speech. I'd still appreciate a setting in Mail
Leopard Firewall Settings27 Oct 2007 19:36 GMT2
The default under OS X 10.5 is
"Allow all incoming connections".
Should I change that?
Thanks,
Panthera pardus27 Oct 2007 18:42 GMT1
I've had a pretty rough week which ended with a fight with a brand new
Vista machine yesterday... couldn't install Adobe Reader for no reason.
So, having business in the Regent Street area I decided to pop in and
get myself a copy of Leopard.
