Stationery/templates in Mail?03 Oct 2007 23:19 GMT8
long-time Eudora user here.
I'm trying to help a friend set up some templates for replies - Eudora
calls them "Stationery" - but I'm wondering what could be the equivalent
in Mail and where it's hidden.

I love it

Firmware update for MBP03 Oct 2007 15:12 GMT5
Intel based MBP users
I just did a firmware in my Intel based MBP and on reboot everything
seemed ok. The firmware installer re-booted twice, but then my wireless
mighty mouse and trackpad would freeze 10seconds :-(
wireless might mouse03 Oct 2007 09:35 GMT2
I may be missing something here, but:  I leave my mouse switched because
if I don't I have to go through BTooth set up every time I use it.  I'm
assuming it should remember, but it doesn't seem to.

Sat Sept 29's "Eastern Daily Press" newspaper (www.edp24.co.uk)
had an item in its motoring section, about a GBP150 adaptor one
can buy from Toyota, allowing extensive control of an iPod from
the car's buttons, displays and what-have-you.  Apparently it's

Windoze/Mac/Mac/Windoze file transfers glacial02 Oct 2007 21:44 GMT2
Hi bods,
As you may recall I have a G5 and a Shuttle. 10 days ago I bought a
Linksys WAG325N to replace my trusty old Netgear W834G which stopped
'seeing' any computers at all.
Reading a PC-written CD-R02 Oct 2007 21:18 GMT7
I have a CD-R that was written by a PeeCee using Windows 98. It had
something unimportant on it and my friend then used Toast to write two
M$Winword files onto it. I think they were ISO 9660, because Toast made
a fuss on closing down about saving them in a fomrat 'that any computer
My iMac 400 dv - OSX?02 Oct 2007 20:03 GMT4
I still have my old OS9 imac (400dv with 192 meg ram) - the kids use
it for word processing and watching DVDs... however it seems to be
getting increasingly flakey and crashes no and again. It is NOT
connected to the net.
MacBook PSU02 Oct 2007 19:45 GMT5
MacBook PSU has gone on the blink. The LED very rarely comes on, and
the cable will sometimes charge, sometimes not (needs wiggling).
Reading around on the web it seems cable failure on these is a pretty
common fault - anyone here had the problem and managed to get it dealt

I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.
I've a project that I want to export to my new Nano. I share it and
after a few minutes, when I try it out in iTunes I only have audio, no
video. Am I missing a step like 'save' or something like that?
Parallels and USB data sticks02 Oct 2007 19:03 GMT5

I want to use a USB flash drive stick wossname (Kingston DataTraveller)
