I have a friend with an iBook G4 1.33GHz (still to find out if it's the
12.1" or the earlier 14" model) with a duff Airport card. He says the
card isn't underneath the keyboard, but after much time scouring all my
known sources for manuals and take apart guides, I can't find any ...

iMac G4 20" system DVDs04 Oct 2007 23:12 GMT3
Could some kind soul make me a DVD copy of the install disks for an iMac
G4 (the 20" models came with 10.3)? I'm selling one of mine, but I've
since upgraded it to 10.4 and don't want to sell that with it.
Obviously I will send you a couple of blank DVDs to do the job with.

iPod Touch - First Look04 Oct 2007 16:13 GMT-
Well, my iPod Touch was delivered on Tuesday and, in line with all the
other comments from new owners on this group, I have to say that it is a
stunning piece of kit. The last iPod I bought was the original 5GB one
in 2001 (I have a rule never to buy version 1 of anything and I ...

New app launcher: Sapiens04 Oct 2007 11:15 GMT2
I've just started playing around with this - a mouse-based launcher. It
takes some time to train so at the moment it isnt a patch on
Quicksilver's launching, but I find it interesting so I will be giving
it a good trial run.

Can anyone recommend a replacement 250 GB drive for a new MacBook? Or
any to avoid?
Looking at Samsung, WD or Hitachi at the moment.

iMac second monitor?04 Oct 2007 07:38 GMT2
My son in law, who produces graphics and videos, is about to upgrade
from a G4/Diamondtron to, he hopes, a 24" iMac and a MacBook Pro.
He likes to use two monitors. Of course he can do that with the MacBook,
but is there any way to add a second monitor to the iMac? I had a look,
eBay sniping04 Oct 2007 07:07 GMT76
I've just made my first eBay purchase and, contemplating more bidding, I'm
wondering what the feeling about sniping is - ethical or not?
