thickness. The system is 18mths old.
I am running 10.4.10 and have always kept the updates current.
Has anyone else had these problems? Are they the same issues as for the

Airport Extreme connection question10 Oct 2007 16:52 GMT-
I have Airport Express, shared by three Macs. It is definitely slowing down
my internet connection, I get much higher download speeds if the modem is
connected directly to my Mac.
I have been looking at Airport Extreme. I noted that it can be connected
Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme10 Oct 2007 14:28 GMT13
Both silly names. In the case of the iMac, is the 2.8Ghz (Extreme) model
just .4GHz faster than the 2.24GHz model (Duo) or is there some other

NAS External work okay with Macs?10 Oct 2007 13:54 GMT4
A friend with assorted Macs (two G5, two Mac Book Pros, a coupe of G4
powerbooks) connected via router (laptops via wireless, G5s via

shared storage device.
Bouncing Mail10 Oct 2007 13:40 GMT5
For eMail I'm using Mail. I decided to bounce the junk mail, afterwards the
ammount of junk mail that I received seemed to increase. So I stopped
bouncing, junk received has decreased. Could this just be a flook, or is
bouncing a bad thing.

I'm trying to help someone who wants to transfer photos from their Nokia
6070 to their Mac. It looks like they need a CA-42 USB cable, but I see
this only comes with PC software and I don't know if the phone will show
up as a storage device on the Mac, or whether it needs ...
Mac OS X + Windows XP SP2 + Boot Camp + how to backup the WinXP partition10 Oct 2007 07:09 GMT-
I have a MacBook on which I installed Boot Camp beta 1.4 and Windows
XP SP2 on a separate partition of the built-in drive. I can boot
either operating system according to my needs, even run them
simultaneously using Parallels. I love this setup but I fear losing it
ov2 file programs09 Oct 2007 23:30 GMT3
I have some ov2 (tomtom poi) files that I want to merge together.
This in itself isn't hard but having a look around I can't find any mac
software that does it (there is some java stuff I can use), apart from
some software the wrong side of £50.

iTouch & streaming TV/music09 Oct 2007 13:11 GMT-
Have any other iTouch users tried the Wireless Access feature of EyeTV
2.5 with it yet?
This was very quick and easy to set up, despite my not having used
anything similar nor streamed anything before.
