Dear All ­
I have an .xlsx file to convert to something I can work on. Two candidates -
Microsoft's Open XML Converter and Pangea's docXConverter.
Downloaded both. Open XML unpacked to 99 MBytes, docX to 8.

Where is the Airport Card in  an iBook 1.42?
In the 1.33 version it's directly under the keyboard, but in the same

Local printing business has - amongs other things - G5 running OS10.4.10; G4
running OS 9.0.2; G4 running OS9.1. All are connected via Ethernet,
implemented with a 100mbits/sec ethernet switch.
OSX has public folders for users of the OS9 computers.

This is probably a stupid question but my technical knowledge of such
things is minimal.
I see that the Mac Pro has "three open full-length PCI Express
expansion slots".

I've to go look at a problem on a Mac tomorrow were the user, who is
away from home travelling, can't send email on wired and wireless
networks in hotels etc. They have a BT email account and can receive
email but when they try to send it gives an error. Might be something

I've been using BBedit a lot recently when re-writing my web pages, and
have come across a really annoying bug a few times now, I'll be editing

been given a slightly aged HP Deskjet 640c printer which I've
connected to the Mac via USB.  The printer "works" in that it spits

Does anyone know if it is possible to uncap the latest generation of
iPods. I find the volume on the iPod classic a bit low and assume it is
still capped to comply with EU limits. I used to used a utility called
gopod to uncap the previous generations but I don't think this work ...
