Dear All I have an .xlsx file to convert to something I can work on. Two candidates - Microsoft's Open XML Converter and Pangea's docXConverter. Downloaded both. Open XML unpacked to 99 MBytes, docX to 8.

Local printing business has - amongs other things - G5 running OS10.4.10; G4 running OS 9.0.2; G4 running OS9.1. All are connected via Ethernet, implemented with a 100mbits/sec ethernet switch. OSX has public folders for users of the OS9 computers.

I've to go look at a problem on a Mac tomorrow were the user, who is away from home travelling, can't send email on wired and wireless networks in hotels etc. They have a BT email account and can receive email but when they try to send it gives an error. Might be something

Does anyone know if it is possible to uncap the latest generation of iPods. I find the volume on the iPod classic a bit low and assume it is still capped to comply with EU limits. I used to used a utility called gopod to uncap the previous generations but I don't think this work ...
