'Application PubSubAgent has unexpectedly quit'. Every few minutes. 2

Apple shipping mail....what's x-msg:// ?26 Oct 2007 11:11 GMT1
The shipping mail I've had for Leopard has tracking links in them,
however clicking on them doesn't lead to anything. When I hover the
mouse over it says the link is for x-msg://69/ , which means nothing to
me.

Time Machine or SuperDuper/CCC26 Oct 2007 09:03 GMT8
My backup/recovery strategy consists of making a clone to alternate
external HD's. From what we know about TM, is there any reason to
continue to do this? Any idea if it will be possible to use TM with
multiple backup drives?
What Sainsbury's did to my Mac26 Oct 2007 08:19 GMT1
I walked out of the Regent St Apple Store last night with a 20"  cinema
display to hang off my Powerbook G4 - the proudest man of earth.
I removed it from its box, plugged it in, connected it to the PB and got
the finest, sharpest, brightest full screen image I have ever seen. I

Handbrake and dark video25 Oct 2007 21:30 GMT17
Using Handbrake 0.91 to encode a couple of films for my iPod Touch, I
noticed that both films are somewhat darker than they should be, as though
the gamma is off. Anyone else noticed this, and if so is there a setting I
can tweak?
Hogwasher right-click25 Oct 2007 19:12 GMT1
What's the Apple-approved user interface guideline on right-clicking? In
Hogwasher, if I select a thread then right-click on another thread, a pop-up
menu offers me the option to "Kill Thread". If I select this, it kills the
*selected* thread, not the one I've clicked on. This ...

iMac G4 won't see internal HD - HELP!25 Oct 2007 19:04 GMT16
It's one hour before I fly out to South Africa, and suddenly my wife's
iMac G4 won't boot - can't see the internal HD. Will eventually boot off
FireWire backup HD, but Disk Utility doesn't see internal HD.
Any ideas?
