I would like to change the filename of my pictures in iPhoto from the image
number to an actual name that describes the photo.  I have looked I 'Help'
and I can see how I can change it to appear with the name in the information
panel but the image number still remains in the library ...

Have been struggling with getting reliable wireless connection on my
MacBook. I know I am at the extreme end of the range from my hub as
iStumbler only reports a signal strength of around 30%.

I use an Intel Mac Mini with a bus powered HD as a music centre.
It all works fine, but powering down is a bind, having to switch the TV
back on, 'backing out' of Front Row, and using a mouse or kb to prompt
shut down. I realise the remote can sleep the Mini, but the HD stays on.

Got up this morning and decided to check my email. Noticed the fans on
my G5 iMac were running very high. Usually that's because something has
crashed so I shut down all the apps I had left running. Didn't make any
difference. Fired up Activity Monitor to see what was burning the ...

How long does it take from announcements to release?  Will they start selling
it in regents street the day after or is it likely to be a few weeks down the
line?
