I'm thinking of getting a new iMac but I'm concerned that the new OS
is supposed to be just round the corner. I don't want to have to fork
out £99 to upgrade just after buying a new box. I've been told that
when apple is about to release a new OS anyone buying a new machine

Is there some way in which to set the background colour of pages in
Pages?

Is there any way to get the Apple remote (with a MBP) to play nicely
with either of the above applications? I've googled around a bit and it
looks like I'm out of luck. I thought I'd try here as well just in case...

I was in London today. Popped into the Regent Street store and bought
an Apple TV to replace a Mac mini I was using as a media server in my
living room. The only thing I was using the mini for was iTunes.
Exactly what Apple TV is designed for. The mini is going to pastures

Finally I have a "decent" native terminal application. Kudos to the guys
at http://ranger.users.finkproject.org/kde/index.php/Home for making
development builds of KDE4 available.
