Sorry, but I've only got half the picture here. I have a friend who has
a friend who is trying to get VLC running on an eMac. Apparently VLC
wont start up and does not give any error messages.
Any ideas? I have no details of the eMac. Just though I'd ask.

Are there any phones for use at home on the normal landline that can
sync contacts with Addressbook?

Is there a way to connect my VM cable modem to a Belkin F5D7630? I want to
use the Belkin as a switch, with wired ethernet to the iMac, and wireless
access for the iBook. The only way I can see to connect the two is to plug

while it is a rumor, and should be treated as thus, i think it's not a
bad idea, a ipod touch pro or iphone pro.

We have a Quicksilver hosting a Designjet PowerRIP installation.
Unfortunately, with very large A1 prints (130Mb) the print job gets to
about 80% and then just vanishes from the queue, with no output.  The
network is good, and smaller print jobs are fine.

Tried to buy a touch today and every store i went into said they were
