| Installing Classic environment. | 03 Aug 2007 10:21 GMT | 1 |
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice about running Classic. I've bought an old 17" iMac G4 through eBay and purchased the OS X Tiger retail pack from Apple. I've wiped the hard drive and installed the new OS

| Cat-7? | 03 Aug 2007 07:01 GMT | 41 |
One hears that the next two local network speed increases are due to bring in new cable standards. If the current one is Cat-5, is it time to be thinking of installing Cat-7 in a new-build house? If so, is it yet available at rational prices?

| OT'ish: About This PC | 03 Aug 2007 00:06 GMT | 8 |
What's the equivalent of About This Macintosh on the PC? Not Device Manager, I'm looking for something I can give to a person with no experience in this and it will tell them whether they have AGP or PCIe slots (the actual display adapter they're using is on-board, so it's no

| SpamCop filtering | 02 Aug 2007 22:23 GMT | - |
Anyone got experience of running SpamCop filtering to minimise spam (currently running about 15:1 for me). While SpamSieve keeps most of it at bay I would rather not see any at all if it is only a couple of quid a month.

| So, this event on Tuesday... | 02 Aug 2007 21:11 GMT | 15 |
New iMacs seem pretty much a given, but... ...what do we think the likelyhood is of 10.5 being released? I know the recent dev seeds were still less than stable, but I can't help thinking that it would be typical Apple to announce a delay, then release before the

We're living in temporary accomodation during a house move. I have a TiBook/OS10.2.8 and a HP laserjet 1022 here, and they work superbly together. My brother in law (who owns the flat) is here for a week or two, and has an AlBook/OS10.4. I'd like to be able to connect it to the
