Cardiff and not the more obvious choice of London. Are Apple based in
the Welsh capital?

Has been for a while, but I haven't seen it mentioned before.
Current thinking round here seems to be SuperDuper is the business, but

iLife '08 system requirements17 Aug 2007 15:50 GMT20
G3 is now not supported at all, and G4 users can't use iMovie.

Unsurprising I suppose, but...ouch.
How to move window that is 'above' the screen?17 Aug 2007 13:54 GMT6
I have a dual monitor setup, one monitor is smaller than the other.
Somehow (and I have no idea how), I have managed to get a window on the
small monitor that is larger than the display size. The top of the
window is above the physical edge of the screen and the bottom of the

Safari beta keeps pausing.17 Aug 2007 12:58 GMT2
Got a strange problem with the current safari beta.
Every 20 seconds or so it briefly pauses, making it unresponsive for
around a second or so. This is most noticeable when either typing into
a form or scrolling around a page. Occasionally this results in a
Unexpected end of file error17 Aug 2007 11:56 GMT3
In launching Palm Desktop I get two successive error messages which
say 'Unexpected end of file detected'. Clicking the only available
buttom - Ok - shuts down the app. I've downloaded the app afresh but
the same thing happens.

Well,
I picked up my new keyboard today, took it home, plugged it into my
iMac, powered up, and... nothing. It doesn't work. Not in my iMac, my
PowerBook G4 or my old G4. I tried it with one, the other and both of

Activity Monitor >100%17 Aug 2007 09:05 GMT3
I was doing some scanning this afternoon and noticed the fans on my MBP
ramping up each time I used SilverFast. Checking out the cause in
Activity Monitor I managed to clock Silverfast as using over 100% of
CPU.
