Anyone using Blender 3d on the Mac?
If so, have you noticed a problem putting the machine to sleep whilst
running it? When it wakes, the screen doesn't seem to update, yet the
program still runs ok (It'll do certain operations based on keypresses

I am posting this through a Neighbour's unprotected network, but I
have an Airport Extreme hub that my new Macbook Pro refuses to
recognise. The AE worked fine with my old Powerbook, and my wifes
Powerbook also still recognises it.

Are there any keyboard utilities that aid the direct input of accented
characters? I know the keyboard viewer will show some of this and can
aid the input of accented characters with the Option key.
I was thinking of whether there is anything more like Quicksilver i.e.

How to replace an external drive's Finder icon with one of my own
choosing? I recall opening the More Info pane and somehow pasting my
preferred image over the icon, but I can't seem to do it now. 10.4.10.

I am thinking of buying a NAS drive that is on offer locally.
I connect to the internet via a router and wifi. If I was to set the
ethernet to a manual IP on a different range to a static ip and set
the nas as a static ip and connect them mac and the nas via a single
