I just posted a new picture on my blog http://www.autresdirections.co.uk/blog/ It is a colour photo, converted to b&w in Photoshop. When I view the jpg in PS, it looks fine. When I look at the blog in Safari, it also

| PC World | 05 Jul 2007 13:46 GMT | 18 |
Do PC World sell many Macs? I was in my local PC World this afternoon and was having a play with the Macs they have in stock... in need of some TLC - missing keys on a couple, sticky keys on another (F9/F10 randomly pressing themselves),

| Charities that accept macs | 05 Jul 2007 12:36 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know of a charity that will accept a 450Mhz G4-based mac? One of our retiring profs has one, and wants to donate it to a good cause. (It's complete, with 15" ADC monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse).

Folks, my Mac has started to play silly buggers. This might or might not be the place to raise such issues. If not, I apologise and will seek out some support elsewhere. (God I miss MacWizards!) But I feel "at home" in here so I'll try here first.

| Airport Express Insanity | 05 Jul 2007 09:57 GMT | 7 |
I'm fine setting up the Airport Express (AE) as an access point on my wired LAN, but I simply cannot get it to work as a client on my home wi-fi network. Worst of all, when placed in client mode the AE ignores all attempts to communicate with it via its ethernet port and, as it

So says macrumors, but I'd actually be a bit disappointed if it was true: http://www.macrumors.com/2007/07/04/new-ilife-gone-golden-master/ So that would mean it's not making use of Leopard features like Core Animation then. I'm quite surprised by that.

The way I understand it is that when the window of a single window application is closed, the app should quit. When the last window of a multiple document application is closed, the application should remain open.

| Poor Amazon Seller warning. | 04 Jul 2007 22:35 GMT | 14 |
I ordered some items from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, one of which (a presentation remote) was being supplied by Digital Kingdom. The remote was supposed to arrive by 25th June, but it didn't. I emailed the seller, and got no response. Amazon suggested leaving it three

| Grouping Movies in iTunes | 04 Jul 2007 21:31 GMT | 5 |
How can I group/categorise movies in iTunes (eg. Vintage,Favourites etc). I would like them to show in AppleTV in their respective group. I suppose I could give each movie a prefix, but I would much rather drop them onto a folder or if possible a movie playlist.

After building the two flat pack wardrobes, and chests of drawers, my CPC order arrived with my TV and networking bits in. So, after a fulls days work, climbing steps, in the loft, and feeding cables into various rooms, I now have a proper telephone connection in

| iPhone in the wild | 04 Jul 2007 19:17 GMT | - |
Spotted in Nottingham - at the train station. I didn't have time to speak to its handler, so I don't know if he was a tourist, or one of the people who are doing pre-release testing. Still, it looked very nice.
