This is odd. If I search for 'mark franklin' on the iTunes store, it tells me that the store is 'temporarily unavailable'. If I seach for 'franklin' it's fine. And it's not just giving me the wrong error when it can't find anything either, because if I search for 'qbznl9j' then I

I routinely use Firefox but thought i'd give Safari a go. It is Safari 2.0.4. on OS 10.4.10. I dont like the dark grey appearance and the small font on the bookmarks toolbar - i's like a lighter colour and clearer font - bit like Firefox

On some sites I get an icon with the word below, "NetBlockade". I assume this is something to do with NetBarrier firewall(?) -perhaps not, just a guess because of the name and icon- and is used to block popups and the like. This also prevents access to some items e.g., videos in ...

I have just bought my 1st brand new Intel Duo iMac, and I am chuffed to bits having done so. My question is "Can it be sited next to an old 19in CRT"? Would the magnetism from the CRT affect the workings of the iMac?

When I launch Terminal it tells me that I have new mail. Entering 'mail' tells me that there are 442 messages. Is there a command that will delete all of these at one fell swoop?

Anyone using the OS X Eclipse and able to get it to upgrade itself to v3,3? I can download a new copy, but that would mean installing a load of plugins again and I don't want to. The normal "find and install updates" bit is telling me I'm fully upgraded, but I'm only at v.3.2.2.

me looking for advice again. I am trying to stick to Safari rather than Firefox for a bit. One problem I have is links in Newsfire are opening new windows in safari whereas Firefox opened new tabs. I have turned on Tabbed browsing etc but I still end up with 5 or 5 Safari
