Mark Franklin?09 Jul 2007 11:38 GMT4
This is odd. If I search for 'mark franklin' on the iTunes store, it
tells me that the store is 'temporarily unavailable'. If I seach for
'franklin' it's fine. And it's not just giving me the wrong error when
it can't find anything either, because if I search for 'qbznl9j' then I

NetBlockade08 Jul 2007 16:04 GMT2
On some sites I get an icon with the word below, "NetBlockade". I assume this
is something to do with NetBarrier firewall(?) -perhaps not, just a guess
because of the name and icon- and is used to block popups and the like. This
also prevents access to some items e.g., videos in ...

I have just bought my 1st brand new Intel Duo iMac, and I am chuffed to bits

Deleting mail from terminal08 Jul 2007 10:32 GMT11
When I launch Terminal it tells me that I have new mail. Entering 'mail'
tells me that there are 442 messages. Is there a command that will delete all
of these at one fell swoop?
XChat user permissions... possibly08 Jul 2007 09:54 GMT2
I've been tech support for my boss in his personal life for about 18
years. Videos, TVs, Hi-Fi, computers, you name it. He's scared of
technology, but needs to use it.
I migrated him to an iMac recently and it went very well, he actually
Eclipse 3.3 upgrades08 Jul 2007 09:27 GMT1
Anyone using the OS X Eclipse and able to get it to upgrade itself to
v3,3? I can download a new copy, but that would mean installing a load
of plugins again and I don't want to. The normal "find and install
updates" bit is telling me I'm fully upgraded, but I'm only at v.3.2.2.

Safari Tabbed browsing and NewsFire07 Jul 2007 23:49 GMT2
me looking for advice again. I am trying to stick to Safari rather
than Firefox for a bit. One problem I have is links in Newsfire are
opening new windows in safari whereas Firefox opened new tabs. I have
turned on Tabbed browsing etc but I still end up with 5 or 5 Safari
