I have a number of small Quicktime clips that I want to stitch together

Backgound first I have inherited a G4 400 Sawtooth which I want to set
up as a server/backup machine for my home network.  My plan is to put
a couple of new large SATA HDD on a SATA pci card as a mirrored RAID
array, with the collection of firewire enclosures that I already have

I've been asked to recommend something for someone who has been using a
spreadsheet to do his accounts.

The only fly int' ointment with the Mac Pro is what happens with USB on
a restart or startup.
I have an old Extended Keyboard II connected to a Belkin ADB-USB
adapter, and without fail, I have to unplug and reconnect the adapter

It's a mates, I've spent ages on it now so I reckon it's mine! Symptoms:
1. Locks up after 15 mins or so. Just freezes, no screen breakup or gfx
anomalies, just stops dead....
2. Works perfectly in single user text mode, will stay up forever, obviously

Well, I had my first e mail today from an iPhone - according to the
tagline anyway - I've replied asking for a full report...
