Apologies if this has been covered but is anybody currently
experiencing connection problems with Orange?
I have been with Freeserve, then they changed to Wanadoo with no
problems.

I want a shared library on my Panther Server.
First though you need to know that my network home directories are in
Macintosh HD1/U - has been like like that for ages and is fine.
The flder I want as a shared library is Macintosh HD1/Eric.

The birthday-o-matic is now taking a haitus and I don't know when it will

The weekend before last, I did a complete, clean install of OS 10.3.9
and then downloaded all the available updates. This has freed a lot of
disc space and made everything more stable.

Does anyone know of an OS X application which will allow one to design a
slideshow which uses two displays simultaneously? The only way I know to do
this at the moment is to use the screen saver. This produces quite an

I have an Apple VGA adapter plugged into this iG5 and using SSD to get a
bigger desktop. It has always provided a somewhat unstable picture on the
second monitor but since I got the Mac Mini and a KVM switch, it's terrible.
The Mini produces a fine crisp display on the ViewSonic ...

supply can replace the Apple part. The Apple unit is possibly the
weakest component in the G4 and has been a problem for some time
particularly in hot weather. I think Apple should have had a recall
