Running iMac from external drive.23 Apr 2007 08:46 GMT11

on an external drive. If so would it be a lot slower. Would I be
better with a USB2 or a Firewire drive?
best regards

Argh. Can't change filenames22 Apr 2007 23:42 GMT7
Not on anything. I strongly suspect my dear son has somehow changed
something and I can't change it back.
All filenames for all documents, pix, whatever, once set, cannot be
changed.
Chinese Seagate?22 Apr 2007 21:27 GMT1
I've seen warnings about these on here - how do you tell? Looking on
Dabs, I'm guessing the Barracuda are the 3.5"/desktop drives. Can
anyone tell me what the difference is between S150/S300/U100 etc?
After my recent fun with my iMac, it looks like it's time for a heart

suggestion.
Why do gays like the movie "American History X'?22 Apr 2007 20:31 GMT-
Because Edward Norton's character is bummed in the showers
This is what all faggots dream off
(Most of us dream of world peace or a cure for cancer, but these sick
f.cks dream of botting. It really does make me sick)
New .Mac address after trial22 Apr 2007 20:25 GMT1

Apple Store experience22 Apr 2007 18:45 GMT-
In the regent street store, first of all I wanted to check out paralells and

came over and said 'do you need any help cause I need ...
The Macintosh is a girl's computer!22 Apr 2007 16:31 GMT279
If you're a guy and you're using a Macintosh, it will
slowly turn you into a girl. First, your cock and
your balls will start to wither and finally, they'll
fall off. In the meantime, your tits will grow.

Backup solutions....22 Apr 2007 11:56 GMT8
I'm getting pretty fed up with the reliability of backups right now. I
