My G5 iMac - a very early one - has recently started randomly powering
off.  Not shutting down, just switching off as if the plug had been
pulled.  It seems to happen more when the computer is heavily loaded.
Is this likely to be the power problem for which Apple has extended

Anybody know if one's new Nano will be fried or boiled by using a

Been having some hassles on Firewire Enclosures for some Sata Drives we have...
I ordered what was supposed to be one with the latest Oxford Chipset in
it, would it show up in system profiler has being an Oxford Chipset
when I click on the firewire bus...

Re. the case of someone sitting in their car outside a house, logging on to
the internet using the householders wireless connection.

I've just discovered something that may go some way to explaining my
troubles with my Macs... if my MacBook Pro is plugged in using the

can anyone recommend a steering wheel that works in osx 10.4/iMac and isn't
too expensive (up to £30). I have my xbox360 contoller working on the mac
but would like a wheel for driving games
