Reprise: OS9 compatible printer02 Apr 2007 21:08 GMT1
Following responses to my question last month, I eventually went for
a Brother DCP 115C, available from their UK refurb store at 38UKP
plus p&p.
It arrived last Thursday and at that price, seems to be a decent bit
EyeTV and AD track02 Apr 2007 18:37 GMT5
Occasionally, when I burn an EyeTV Freeview recording to DVD with Toast
7.1.2 it burns the Audio Description track instead of the wanted stereo
tracks.
I suspect it's something to do with sound PID selection, but there seems
Toast Lite getting stuck in Dock02 Apr 2007 17:34 GMT5
Grarghh! Bumflapz! This was from last night. (iLamp)
I tried to burn a CD before doing an overnight clone. Insert in
external burner, Toast 6 Lite appears in the Dock with the little
triangle, but nothing happens, and it will not go away. (Suspect my

Gnnaarrrrr!! :-(02 Apr 2007 16:14 GMT13
Aarrgghh! After mentioning a week or two ago that I couldn't actually
remember having a KP, I've now been getting them every other day or so. Even
more frequently, apps are quitting on me (Mail,Hogwasher, FF) for no apparent
reason.
Other TubeStick software?02 Apr 2007 14:14 GMT4

- does anyone know of any other software that'll work with the the USB
TubeStick?
Cheers ... Mark
Refurb store iPods....02 Apr 2007 14:05 GMT5
Probably something no-one can answer, but does anyone know which version
of the iPod Video is currently being punted out on the refurb store?
I'm totally confused by all the differing iPod specs. these days - but
the black 60gig for £175 is just a bit too tempting....
TextWrangler grep02 Apr 2007 13:11 GMT1
I'd like to search for however many spaces/tabs there are before the
first non-whitespace character on a line, and replace with the same
number of - what's the grep magic?

Seriously, what's this bloke's problem?
He's so anti-Apple.

One of the FBI agents uses an original Macintosh Portable in season 2
of Twin Peaks :-)
I can't quite make out which word processor he's using though. The
menus are Apple/File/Menu/something/something/Font/Special(?)/Window,

Hogwasher01 Apr 2007 14:55 GMT1
Having used Hogwasher for a few days, one thing that I am finding a bit

by date. It seems that if you post something to an original post of say 5
days ago, it jumps to the top of the thread list even ...
