spent a little while reconfiguring all the house wireless things to

Why is it that in some applications, the same word will appear with
fancy typography and in other it won't?
If you type the word "photography" in Zapfino into some applications,
the 'h's will enjoy a lovely tall tail; in others, they won't.

Just noticed something very odd in Safari, if I open it up and click on
the UKNova bookmark, everything looks ok, except the yellow minimize
button is ocasionally greyed out ? only seems to happen with the UKNova
site. If I do a Safari reset it does'nt clear it, I have to quit the

So my new Sky Netgear 834 is my wireless router now...problem is, i've
just tried to connect to my mini from my MBP, and the finder offers up
an FTP authorisation, which fails and then a broken alias dialogue comes

reason is that when the price is sufficiently low, I'll bung one in my
Core Solo Mac Mini as a cheap upgrade.
