Intel iMac, Tiger, Nikon D200. Just tried downloading from my new D200. iPhoto got into maybe 15 of the 100-odd shots and froze. Just locked up. Couldn't eject the card, either. Had to power-off.

After some time browsing and looking at successive ebay items I get the error message -- "Safari can't open the page - bad server response" -- and can look at no more ebay pages without closing down Safari and re-starting it.

I have an old PowerBook G3 (bronze keyboard) running System 9.1. I've read that it will handle OS X okay but will it be able to connect to a broadband internet connection? Will I need another modem? Thanks
