in iPhoto and ACR would fire up and allow me to manipulate the image.
Now, however, despite choosing PS as the external app to use for ...

some ads that, you know, actually show the Mac and Aqua? With Windows
Oi, zoara! Just 'cause Bella told you to avaunt, doesn't mean you can hoist the Kobbly Baton my way!! Take it back!! Take it back!!!16 Apr 2007 11:55 GMT2
Though I've not had any computer-relate issues thus far (but it is Apple
related). On Friday my beloved Mark I 60GB Video died (just out of extended
AC, too!) so, feeling nekkid without it, I went to Argos and bought an 80GB
replacement (probably a stupid thing to do, but I ...
Apple Care.....16 Apr 2007 10:14 GMT55
Phoned up to try and get a replacement PSU - they say they can't deal
with it on the phone 'cos it's outside of the 90 day technical support.
If I do want support, then I have to give them my credit card details so
they can charge me £35 if they can fix over the phone.

In case the authorities at Glasgow University needed any more evidence
of the importance of Alan's pages, here's a message I got from no less a
source than the W3C's HTML validator:

versions of iWork and MS Office so Apple aren't exactly lilly white

what's up with my Mail.app, it keeps pausing15 Apr 2007 20:33 GMT5
I can't figure this out. I wiped and re-installed my MBP a couple of
weeks ago and ever since then Mail.app has been playing up. It seems to
pause every so often. I can be going through mail
(delete-delete-delete-delete, as you do) and after every 4 to 6 is
Resurrecting a G415 Apr 2007 19:34 GMT6
The son of a friend is studying photography and lusting for a Mac so I

My iBook is now back after its hard drive transplant (thanks to a
misdiagnosis) and what appears to be two logic board swaps. Hmmm, am I
able to destroy logic boards at a distance now?
Anyway, as is traditional, I am taking bets as to how long this thing
