Phoned up to try and get a replacement PSU - they say they can't deal
with it on the phone 'cos it's outside of the 90 day technical support.

Not sure about this. I see the point, but my Mac came with trial
versions of iWork and MS Office so Apple aren't exactly lilly white

I can't figure this out. I wiped and re-installed my MBP a couple of
weeks ago and ever since then Mail.app has been playing up. It seems to
pause every so often. I can be going through mail

The son of a friend is studying photography and lusting for a Mac so I
offered him my old G4 Quicksilver. I blew the cobwebs off it this morning but
