Macbook problem01 May 2007 00:16 GMT14
I have a Macbook, about 8 months old. I've been using it every day,
several hours per day, no problems. However, quite often on switch-on,
I have to press the switch-on button several times to actually get it
to come on. I always hold the button depressed for several seconds

My absolute favourite 'user' was originally using my old beige
G3/266/OS8.1, on UKOnline with a Zyxel router. With 128MB RAM, it fairly

OS X and online bank accounts30 Apr 2007 22:26 GMT27
I'm looking to set up a savings account, so one of my criteria has to be
whether I will be able to access it online using OS X Tiger.
Does anyone have any recommendations or advice for what to look for or avoid
when it comes to online banking?
Printing DVD case sleeves30 Apr 2007 21:40 GMT1
Is there anything clever enough to grab frames from an iDVD project and
shovel them onto a page to be printed out as a DVD case sleeve?

(apologies for re-posting material from Daring Fireball).
The first comment also made me smirk; the later ones are predictably mean.
iDVD chapters/scenes30 Apr 2007 11:24 GMT3
Is there a way to make iDVD offer as the first scene the audience sees,
not a selection of different film titles, but a selection of chapters
from the only film on the DVD?

ADSL molasses30 Apr 2007 09:31 GMT47
Before I go to bed, I suppose this is very slightly OT, but it's more
