Someone's just told me the 512Mb stick of RAM from my G3/500 iBook won't fit
my G4/1.2Ghz iBook - anyone know if this is correct?

What is the noise that I hear as my iBook wakes from sleep/starts up? It
certainly makes more noise than my old G3 iBook. For the life of me the only
thing I can think of it resembles is a car revving..!

I know there are some other amateur genealogists here... Reunion just
got a major upgrade to 9.0, and is now a Universal Cocoa app.

I picked up my phone this morning to be greeted by a 'phone restricted'
message (the phone in question is a Nokia 6288 - completely useless as far as
synching is concerned, but that's the least of my worries at the moment...)

Does using a headset make skype Phone calls better for both ends of the
conversation?  Using just the iMac mike it seems to be rubbish at the
other end, but good here, which makes it a bit pointless...

I always used to use Cmd-opt-eject to sleep my PB, but since 10.4.9 this
doesn't work any more. Am I the only one affected like this?
