I've just downloaded the latest version of Equinoxe, actually with a
view to buying it this time. Except it crashes within seconds of doing
anything, settings prefs, clicking on any sky object, all invoke an
immediate crash.

10.4.9 just stuffed my Mini..... we had this, strangely enough, with 10.3.9
Apple won't confirm, & are deleting query's/complaints but it's happening
lots.

I've got an external Lacie firewire drive fitted with a Lite-on
LTR-52327S (according to Toast) CD/RWdrive.
I was wondering whether I could put a DVD writer into the Lacie case.
Has anyone tried this? If so, how do you get into the case? I can't see

I'm in the process of transferring everything from my elderly G4 to a new Mac
Pro. I couldn't use Migration Assistant since my old machine is a bit of a
labyrinth with everything spread over 2 hard disks in a rather messy fashion.
I decided to start again with a clean slate and ...

My Excel file has two sheets. Bastard Excel 2004 insists, even if I
print whole workbook, on making two print jobs out of that. So I can't
print it duplex. Any way I can fix this? I have the two PDFs but can't
see how to merge them.

I'm having trouble signing up to the iTunes store. I get as far as the
card processing bit, but it gives up with the following error message:
"Payment processing is temporarily unavailable, please try again later"
I've been getting this for the best part of a week.

Well, I had an opportunity to use both this weekend side by side and I
