I've created a slideshow in iDVD 6.0.3. I've set 'Slide Duration' to
Manual and I've tried various transitions between slides e.g. Droplet.
In iDVD Preview, transitions play OK forwards but not backwards - it
simply goes back to the previous slide without playing the transition.

I have to send my G4 iBook 10.4.8(ppc )off for a hardware repair, and
I've just bought an ebayed iMac G5 10.4 (ppc). Is there any reason why I
can't just clone the drive of the ibook , system et al, to the iMac?
Using  Firewire, and , if so should I clear the iMac drive first? Or

I'd not used my Mac in the dark for a while, but I took it upstairs
last night and was using it in bed - I could barely see the keys -
when this thing was new, it was easy - it's like the bulb's dying (if
