Anyone recommend a reliable utility for checking the download (&

I tried a search of the group but didn't hit anything.  Googling gives

Selling PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz14 Mar 2007 21:34 GMT47
I'm looking at putting my trusty PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz on eBay and
wondering what I might get for it. They seem to go for anything from 600
to 900. Is there any reason why some PowerBooks are considered more
valuable than others or is it just random ?
First Impressions: MacBook Pro 15"14 Mar 2007 19:51 GMT21
As always, I'm going to try to concentrate on the 'experience' of this
machine rather than the specs, as they're all available all over the web.

non-shiny screen. It was kind of a 'need it now' purchase in response ...

Thoughts on .Mac14 Mar 2007 15:27 GMT9
I was listening to MacBreakWeekly this morning (still got another 40mins left to
listen to) and they were talking about .Mac at one point. So I got to thinking,
and what really is .Mac? Ok, it's email, it's web hosting, it's sync
services...but what it really is is storage.

MBP and Airport Extreme Update 2007-00214 Mar 2007 12:50 GMT8
I've got two MacBook Pro's that are failing to connect to our wireless
network, whereas the Powermacs are all fine. Everything else can connect
to the wireless ok as well - anyone aware of anything specific  up with
this update?

glide pads for an MX1000 mouse. The response was immediate and the pads are
being posted to me free of charge.

Is this normal? Can I throttle down the CPU speed (while on mains as
