I need to get out more. Or wake up.18 Mar 2007 17:42 GMT5

word 'Mistake'. None of the usual commands were woking at all - top, ps,
ls, cd...all just saying 'Mistake'.

Maple 11 for Mac17 Mar 2007 21:08 GMT-
I bought a student copy of Maple 11 for Intel Macintosh today (using my
Open University student status).
Been playing with it for a while whilst listening to the cricket on TMS
(Go Ireland!!). Maple is a very nice application and platform indeed.

Utterly OT: Music from M&S wine advert?17 Mar 2007 15:06 GMT21
Spending a month's worth of off-topic points with this one I think, but
here we go...
The M&S advert for wine, the one with the languorous music in the
background with brass (synth brass perhaps?) lead...I've heard that
Simple Javascript query17 Mar 2007 13:29 GMT-
Simple question...
On my website, I need to display a number on several pages, which
changes periodically.  Now, rather than go through every page every time
this number changes, is there some bit of Javascript or something that
Newsreader oddity17 Mar 2007 11:28 GMT21
If I post a message to a newsgroup (I'm using Hogwasher) it appears at the
top of the list. When more people post messages, mine gets pushed down the
list until someone replies to it, at which point it pops to the top of the
list again. In other words, the posting which appears ...

So how did that get fixed, then?17 Mar 2007 00:16 GMT4
I booted my MB (white c2d, 2gig) this morning, and after half a second
of whirlything I got the multilingual kernel panic screen. Fresh
attempts to boot did the same.
I may have run it out of battery yesterday, while it was in sleep - I
