I'm about to buy a Pentax K100D, having *finally* decided (or, just
maybe a Nikon D40! Or maybe a Canon 350D! Pentax! Nikon! Canon!).  Er,
anyway...
My Photoshop Elements 2 isn't going to handle the RAW files, nor a CMYK

For those that were interested in the Argos Mikomi webcams, and wanted

it was really easy.

Realtime streaming22 Mar 2007 17:30 GMT1
Not necessarily a Mac question I suppose, but I suspect it will be
easier to set up, and the guy who asked me is a Mac user so;
Our music fellow wants to broadcast our Chapel services on the internet.
What do I need to do this? It may be in podcast form or live, I think
Empire Direct 5 year warranty22 Mar 2007 16:25 GMT-
Just a heads up, Empire direct are doing a free 5 year warranty on a lot
of items over £200. Now this doesn't cover computers (and various other
bits), but the iPod 30GB U2 and iPod 80GB DO fall under this, along with
various other home electricals.

which should list the MBR gives:
Odd Mail behaviour22 Mar 2007 14:57 GMT5
Any idea why Mail won't auto quote text when replying? It's doing this
in one particular email but not in others, including emails from the
same person. With this one, in my reply I'm getting the emailer's detail
line, then just a bit of the quote sidebar, but no text, and then ...
South West meet - postponing arrangements22 Mar 2007 12:39 GMT-
Just to say, real life has got in the way for a few days so I won't be
doing the cat-herding^W organising in the thread for the South-West meet.
If anyone else wants to volunteer, that's fine; I'll butt in with yays or
nays as to whether I can make it, but not much more.
Network printer problem22 Mar 2007 11:46 GMT2
I want to configure a HP Photosmart C5180 printer to work using a network,
on both several PCs and a Mac.
So I connect the printer to the network.  It gets an IP address from the
DHCP server, but I use the front panel control to change it to a static IP
