Northern Ireland - what's all that about?!07 Feb 2007 08:49 GMT-
Are those IRA muppets still trying to get independence. We let them
have Southern Ireland - you think they'd be grateful.
Do you remember 'Spiral' from last years Big Brother. He was such a
tool.
Weird mousage lately07 Feb 2007 01:10 GMT2
Has anyone noticed anything funny about mouse behaviour recently (last
few weeks)? My wireless Mighty Mouse has been behaving most strangely.
Every now and again when I do a right click the application in
question goes into beachball mode. Once that happens it stays like
Copilot06 Feb 2007 23:28 GMT4
Anyone tried copilot yet?

a viable option when I have someone on the other end of a phoneline with
ntl getting better, and how to get online faster06 Feb 2007 23:10 GMT1
Well, I had ntl broadband and phone installed in my new house this
morning.  I have to say, ntl seems to have drastically improved, in
competence, friendliness and reliability, as far as my experience has
gone with telephone customer support and the installation technician.
Photoshop Elements06 Feb 2007 22:12 GMT1
I have Elements 2.0, which does me fine - is there any reason to upgrade
to 3, 4, 5, etc ?? I.e. any major features folks think are important.
One thing I do need and I couldn't find how to do it as the Help in my
Elements seems to be buggered, is how to make the background of a

Recording iTunes radio broadcasts on a Mac06 Feb 2007 18:35 GMT4
I suspect this will have already been covered in this NG - but is there

broadcasts (via iTunes) on a Mac - perhaps as MP3 files?
TIA

I hope someone can give me some pointers, please.
I have a G4 mirror-door running 10.4.8, and 9.2.2 in Classic or
standalone. I have Print2PDF and the Canon supplied IP4000 printer
drivers in Classic. I did not have problems with 10.4.7, but this may be

Broadband + VoIP: is this sensible?06 Feb 2007 13:26 GMT43
Okay, my ISDN line is going at the end of Feb - BT's unplugging it.
So I need to get broadband.
Now, BT will convert me to broadband for free if I sign up with BT for
the service - or £50 to got back to POTS and then I have to find someone

How does RSS work on OmniWeb?06 Feb 2007 11:32 GMT3
I keep trying to use OmniWeb, and something keeps stopping me.
What's stopping me now is that RSS doesn't seem to work properly. For

macbook pro memory06 Feb 2007 11:16 GMT2
I am thinking of upgrading my memory for parallels use. My laptop has 1
